BASE

A Layer 2 (L2) scaling solution for Ethereum, designed to provide fast and low-cost transactions.

Bonding Curve

An automated market maker model where a token's price is determined by a mathematical formula based on its supply. Often used for speculative launches, they are susceptible to high volatility.

DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization)

An organization represented by rules encoded as a computer program that is transparent, controlled by the organization members, and not influenced by a central government.

DEX (Decentralized Exchange)

A peer-to-peer marketplace where cryptocurrency traders make transactions directly without handing over management of their funds to an intermediary or custodian.

LP (Liquidity Pool)

A pool of tokens locked in a smart contract. They are used to facilitate trading by providing liquidity.

PAXG (Pax Gold)

A digital asset where one token is backed by one fine troy ounce of a 400 oz London Good Delivery gold bar, stored in LBMA-accredited vaults.

Presale

A fundraising event where tokens are sold to early investors before they are listed on a public exchange. This method is used to raise capital for liquidity and project development.

SoV (Store of Value)

An asset that maintains its value over time without depreciating.

Staking

The process of locking up cryptocurrency tokens in a smart contract. In Los Poderosos, staking is the mechanism for participating in governance and becoming eligible for rewards.

Uniswap v2

A version of the Uniswap decentralized exchange protocol that is compatible with fee-on-transfer tokens. Latest version to be released is Uniswap v4.
